My girls love that cartoon. (We have a whole disc of Chip ‘n’ Dale.
) Also, I recently read Eve Merriam’s poem about a giant who wanted pancakes, in her book Blackberry Ink and thought of you (and your quest for pancake poems). 
The chipmunk who lives in our yard, “Chippy,” loves this cartoon, too, and wanted me to post it! I shall have to look for Eve’s poem. Thanks!
