It’s spring!
Look who stopped by for tea:
Sidney, the wild turkey
(only visits when Thanksgiving is far off),
Cinnamon, who’s losing his winter coat,
and Chipperdee, aka Houdini.
Flower tea and acorns for everyone!
Gorgeous pictures!!
Sigh. Now I HAVE to make time for a walk today. Unfortunately, I still need the snow shoes.

I love azaleas! They always remind me of my grandmother. Her yard was bursting with them.

Hope you see some interesting critters on your walk. That bald eagle is astounding! Wish I could see one . . .

There’s nothing like the bright colors of azaleas to signal spring!

Ooh, your azaleas are GORGEOUS. And I love nature when it’s up close and personal and, um, non-life-threatening.

Our “yard pets” get close enough for me to photograph them from inside the house. I’m still hoping to get pictures of Mr. Pampano (possum), Mr. Donnelly (groundhog), and Fuzzy (fox).

Don’t azaleas look impossible?? That tissue-paper riot of color??

Tell me Mr. Chipperdee isn’t the one you’re trying to… *gulp* get rid of.

Having a deer in your yard is *almost* worth giving up tulips for… Almost.

Just look at those azaleas. Almost breathtaking, that splash of color.
Did you ever catch that chipmunk?

Re: Nooo!
Um, let’s just say we want to “relocate” him. He probably has a partner in crime, too.

Wish we could have tulips, and other flowers. They just taste too good to the deer. So far, they’re not eating the azaleas or daffodils.

Chipperdee is still a free man. He throws his head back and laughs at our traps.
