Is your personal chef too lazy to cook these days?
Need a light, nutritious dish to savor out on the deck or by the pool?
Have no fear, Sonoma Chicken Salad is here!
You: “But I already know how to make chicken salad.”
I’m sure it’s quite delicious. But, ahem, this one is really really good. Think toasted pecans, red seedless grapes, crunchy celery, poppy seeds, and the bears’ favorite, honey. It is one of Whole Foods’ most requested recipes and my absolute favorite. Make some this weekend and share it with those you love. Yum!
If you’ve just joined us, you can catch up on all the Teddy Bear and Friends Picnic posts here. Remember, there’s still plenty of time for you to post pictures of your bears or blog about your favorite bear books, adventures or memories. Leave me a comment so I can link to you!!
I’ve bookmarked that chicken salad recipe. It looks delicious.
I saw your blueberry recipes from last month. I made a blueberry cobbler this week and thought of you. 🙂
(Great book!)

Oh yay for blueberry cobbler (blueberry anything, actually)!
I made the mistake of lending that book to my chef, and now he won’t do anything except read!
You will LOVE the chicken salad. Have a good weekend!

My first thought was: Oh, no! I’ve killed a teddy bear…but now I see you say he’s just in a reading trance. Ah, good. Carry on, Chef Bear. But don’t neglect poor Jama, now.
Mmmm. Chicken salad. A friend brought me some this week, all the way from North Carolina, when she came to golf with me, just because she knew I liked it. I’m going to have to try this recipe.

Ooooh. I’m so excited. I don’t claim to be good at much, but I AM a very good cook, but chicken salad is one of those things I can *never* duplicate or make as well as you get at a restaurant or deli. I can’t wait to try this one. Wheee!

Your book definitely got Chef Bear hooked on reading, and frankly, I can’t blame him. Now he wants to date Rapunzel . . .

P.S. Did you ever find that missing DVD?

Oh no! Ants! They’re everywhere. I’ve been fighting them off of my hummingbird feeders for days. They are hungry little rascals. The recipe sounds yummy.

We’ve got giant ants where we live in the woods. Have you tried rubbing your feeders down with vegetable oil to make it too slippery for them to crawl?

Sounds yummy. But now, I’d like to actually go to Sonoma. Hubby and I loved it there.

That bear has good taste in books. He’s not in a trance, Sara; he’s just contemplating what he’s reading.
