It’s all Cornelius’s doing, Linda. Len actually made the casket a few years ago to celebrate the release of one of Cynthia Leitich Smith’s books. The body bag and skeleton, complete with toe tag, is actually a cool Halloween party invitation we received this year.
Bone appetit?! Was Cornelius so terrified by the morgue that he’s resorted to gnawing on mr. bones? He’ll be coffin up those boney splinters…
A Happy Halloween to you and Cornelius!
LOL. Please, Mr. Cornelius never gnaws. He “dines.” Very civilized, you know. Happy Halloween, Buffy! I imagine you get a lot of vampire slayer jokes this time of year. 😀
At the end of the day after handing out books to my trick or treaters, I see this. Jama, I certainly hope I get to meet you someday. You have such a warm, wonderful, witty way of looking at the world.
Adorable post, as usual! :–) Happy Halloween!

Hysterical! That Cornelius knows how to celebrate Halloween! I’m assuming he’s going trick-or-treating tonight.

He’d rather stay home and pass out candy. Actually we can’t get him to part with any of the candy. This could be a problem.

He’s out of control due to too much sugar. Can’t seem to understand that he’s supposed to hand out the Halloween candy, not eat all of it.
