    1. Some of these were quite hard. I’m old enough to recognize most of the actors, but not that old to know all of them :D. Happy Snow Day!

  1. Thanks for sharing, Jama! These were so much fun. Are you a Barbara Pym fan? Somehow, looking at these made me think of her books, in which people drink a lot of tea. Just wanted to share one of my favorite BP quotes:

“I was so astonished that I could think of nothing to say, but wondered irrelevantly if I was to be caught with a teapot in my hand on every dramatic occasion.”

  2. I recognized someone in every picture but one, and even if she hadn’t been disguised I wouldn’t know what Lady Gaga looks like. Especially fond of the photo of Danny and Grace. Thanks for another lovely start to my day!

    1. Yeah, I love the Danny and Grace photo too. She’s just so, so beautiful. Also love seeing Audrey Hepburn, probably my favorite actress of all time.

  3. This was another post where I just smiled bigger with every picture, ending with heart-melting Caroline and her dad. (and my Em may be with you on Audrey Hepburn) Lovely way to celebrate valentine’s day. Thank you!

  4. Wow, I’ve been doing so well on your other quizzes, Jama, I thought I was an expert, but this one did me in. Stumbled on Clapton & Granny, completely clueless on Stevie Nicks and who? Didn’t even know that was Lady Gaga! I am so out of it. BTW: Julie P., I want to see you in those glasses!! And Jama, thanks – these are such fun.

    1. This was definitely the toughest quiz of all. Now I can say I know some actors I’d never heard of before. Richard Ney didn’t ring a bell at all, or Mary Fickett. Lady Gaga is hard to guess in that disguise. I knew Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie, though. 🙂

  5. I recognized quite a few, although not Eric Clapton’s granny 🙂 I didn’t recognize Greer Garson, but she looks like she’s got a wonderful spread there. The one of Grace Kelly and Danny Kaye is sweet.

  6. Fun post!

The pic of Bogie is with Elizabeth Scott. She starred with Bogie in Dead Recoking in 1947. She looks very much like Lauren Bacall, and Warners tried to call her The Threat when Lauren couldn’t act because she was on suspension. (Lauren was suposed to be frightened by this and behave and take roles she didn’t want…)

I Googled the two names when I suspected it was really E.S. , and came up with this as proof.

    Here’s looking at you!

    1. Yes, I think you’re right! Some of the Pinterest pics had her mislabeled as well. She really does look like Lauren. Her name apparently is Lizabeth Scott, not Elizabeth. Correction duly noted. Here’s looking at Lizabeth :).
