☕ CUPPA OF CHOICE: Tea is good. Coffee is ok if you put cream and sugar in it. But hot chocolate made from scratch…mmm. One heaping tablespoon of Hershey’s Cacao Special Dark and one and a half tablespoons of sugar, and of course, hot, hot water or milk.
☕ HOT OFF THE PRESSES: Fright Club (Bloomsbury, August 2015), Ms. Spell (Holiday House, July 2015); In, Over and On the Farm (Putnam’s, August 2015), and Good Night! I love Up, Tall & High from Ethan, but Fright Club is a favorite with my monster-loving granddaughters! I love homemade cocoa, glad to hear that someone still makes it! Thanks Ethan & Jama!

Hah – yeah, coffee’s all right, if you MUST drink it, but chocolate – in a bull mug, no less – is where it’s at! A wise hotTea, indeed.
I adore wordplay picture books, and playing with prepositions — and Ms. Spellings – and farm animals — looks really fun! I’m always so happy to see more books to collect for the youngest nephew, who just got bumped from Kindergarten to Grade 1, incidentally! I say it’s the books.

Jama, this is a delightful post full of great books for the younger children. I have been looing for books for ELLs so thanks for Ethan’s choice book. Yummy on the hot cocoa recipe.

What a magical post. Fabulous HotTea. And hot chocolate from scratch! Ah, now that is a man in touch with his inner little boy. LOL

I agree — nothing better than hot chocolate from scratch, and a man who knows how to make it!

Ahhh. Now that combined with Colin Firth’s slightly bewildered charm. I’m floating on a cloud. 🙂
