“Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the senses shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourses of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness.” (Helen Keller)
“Keep on beginning and failing. Each time you fail, start all over again, and you will grow stronger until you have accomplished a purpose — not the one you began with perhaps, but one you’ll be glad to remember.” (Anne Sullivan)
Is that them?
Really cool post, Jama. Thanks for the inspiration. It’s been a failing period lately, and I needed to hear it.

Nice quote. Have you read MISS SPITFIRE by Sarah Miller yet? It was so interesting to find out more about Annie Sullivan and to hear the story from her point of view.

I’ve been a big fan of anything written about Helen and Annie, and was thrilled when Sarah’s book came out. She did a great job of telling the story from Annie’s POV.
